Contact and Outreach Data

  • We do not sell contact lists or outreach data to third parties, and we do not use Customer contact data to send our own unrelated marketing
  • Where you receive marketing email from ProspectIQ itself (rather than through a Customer's outreach), you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us
  • We aim to comply with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), the Australian Spam Act 2003, and New Zealand's Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007

5. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to provide the Service you have signed up for
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, support, and improve the Service, and for B2B outreach features where appropriate safeguards apply
  • Consent: for optional cookies and certain marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. Outreach contact data is generally retained for as long as your account is active or until you delete it, and account information is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account closure, subject to legal retention requirements.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing (including for direct marketing), and to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

California (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.

Australia (Privacy Act 1988)

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. You may request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you, and may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your information.

New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020)

You may request access to and correction of personal information we hold about you. If you believe we have not met our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
